President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has always referred to himself as a born-again Christian.
However, the President is not happy with the born-again Christians for making unnecessary noise.
While addressing the nation, the President hinted at how they have given him sleepless nights because of their overnight prayers that come with a lot of noise.
“In the case of Kirumira, we are going back to Luweero means. There was police in the area yesterday (Saturday) but they said they didn’t hear the gunshots. It is possible they didn’t hear because there is a church nearby and they were making a lot of noise. Even at Nakasero, there is a church. They are always making noise and shouting as if God is deaf,” said President Museveni.
It should be noted that authorities have been requesting the government to regulate the operations of the churches because of the continued noise pollution.
