In the series of District exports, we have come to realise that Busoga has many ambassadors on the social and entertainment scene in Kampala. Actually if Idd Amin came back to Uganda and ordered Busoga to go back to their mother land, Ugandan Entertainment would flop. They occupy every department in the entertainment industry. Here are some of the Busoga exports to Kampala.
Zari
Kiligwajjo Zarinah a.k.a Zari is a celebrated socialite in Kampala. She left the country to start a family with Tanzanian singer Diamond. She was born and bred from Jinja. Five years back, she was the biggest export to Kampala. She lived a lavish lifestyle that big was envied by man. Her first husband, Ivan Semwanga paid parents 200 cows when he was asking for her hand in marriage.
Zuena
Zuena is the second best biggest export to Kampala. She is married to singer Bebe cool. Ever since she left Jinja, she has been enjoying the sweet life of Kampala.
Maurice Kirya
He is the most handsome Busoga in Kampala. Women are attracted to him because of his body .He left Busoga many years back searching for a good life.
Racheal Magoola
Veteran Singer is the most successful musician from Busoga. When she left Busoga, she joined the music industry. She composed songs and started singing. Good enough, she came out when the music and entertainment industry was not competitive. She rose to fame and made a name.
Vampino
He failed to make a breakthrough in the music industry but has been successful in the drugs business. He smokes like chimney. He came to Kampala to promote drug usage and cigarette smoking.
Mowzey Radio
He left Jinja when he was joining Makerere University. When he was at Mwiri, Moze Radio got links with the Leone Island headed by Jose Chameleon. His OBs say that he used to go door to door in Kikoni hostels asking for funds from well-wishers to promote his music.
Babirye Judith
She is a successful gospel singer who doubles as the MP of Buikwe. Before she came to Kampala, she was married to a man, Samuel Niiwo who used to beat her day and night. He never used to allow her to go to saloons for pampering. When she got tired, she left and now is happy in Kampala.
Swengere
Currently, no one beats this man in comedy. He has won many awards because of his interesting comedy. He is just on top of his game. He has toppled all the current comedians we are all know.
Justin Lumumba- politician
She is a top politician. When she is moving or talking you might think, she owns entire Uganda. She speaks with much confidence and authority.
