Kampala partiers were treated to yet another night of partying on Saturday as one of their favourite spots Club Amnesia revamped its monthly Uganda night where it celebrates local music and cultures.  

The event was another magnetic rendition characterized with showcasing traditional dances by Odu entertainment group.

The club was well decorated with Uganda colors black, yellow and red. The sexy waitresses were dressed in local clothing’s especially "Kikoyi"(luganda name).  "Kikoyi" is cloth that Baganda women use to wrap around their waists when dressed in gomesi. Some revellers were dressed in Kanzu and Bitenge.

Odu troop performed in five intervals presenting a different cultural dance each time, they kicked off with Gishu mbalu dance a popular one practiced during circumcision that left the crowd cheering and screaming.

They performed for five minutes, left and returned to do dances from other regions of Uganda.  They showcased dances from Busoga, northern region, Kinyankole from Ankole and lastly, Kiganda dance.

She danced with Winnie Nwagi's Kano Koze hit song. Local brew like Enturire, Malwa and Tonto was on sale as well. Deejay Nimrod stole the night with great old school mixes. This event happens every last Saturday of the month.
