The Soulja Boy vs. Chris Brown boxing match is inspiring many rappers to challenge their rivals to fisticuffs. Meek Mill is the latest MC to jump in on the trend, claiming that he would fight Drake for $5 million.
“I’d beat Drizzy the fuck up for $5 mil,” Meek said during a live stream. “Of course I would. We gonna let Nicki [Minaj] be the ring girl. Y’all would come to see that fight, wouldn’t y’all? Y’all’d spend $100 a ticket for that.”
Meek Mill referencing his ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj continues his lighthearted attitude, at least in public, towards their breakup. The Philly rhymer has been willing to laugh at himself too. On Wednesday (Jan. 1), the Maybach Music Group artist posted a video of himself falling down the stairs at his mother’s house.
“They spoke a L into existence,” Meek wrote in the caption of the video. “Leaving out my mom house was tragic for me! Icey ass steps!!! U fall get right back upppp! I ran I thought a ghost pushed me! I might sue yeezy! SINCE YALL WANNA SEE ME FALL SO BAD!!!!”
Although Meek Mill’s willingness to fight would make it seem like he’s still got major beef with Drizzy, it certainly is not as deep as it used to be. The “R.I.C.O.” artist was recently seen enjoying Drake’s “One Dance” out at a club. Clearly the feud is not as intense as it once was.
