The Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has honored Afrigo Band led by local legendary musician Moses Matovu for their great contribution towards promotion of Buganda’s culture and heritage through music.
While at 61st Birthday celebrations at Kings College Buddo Secondary School in Wakiso district, the Kabaka through, the Katikiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga appealed to his subject to promote the heritage and values of Buganda.
Meanwhile, Kabaka encouraged his to support government in promoting education through its Universal Primary and Secondary Education programs. He says the country needs educated people if it’s to overcome the problem of chronic poverty.
