Three suspected criminals are being held by the Police in Kasese District. The suspects were arrested on Thursday night and a gun recovered.
They were picked during a joint security operation conducted in Kyondo, Bokonzo, Kasese district.
This came after increased crime rates in the district including house break-ins by armed thugs, according to Joe Walusimbi, the Kasese RDC.
The RDC said that the trio is being held at the Kasese Divisional Police Headquarters and investigations are still on-going.
