Police in Dokolo have launched an investigation into circumstances under which, a senior two student of Kwere Secondary School mysteriously died.
According to Jimton Aguta, the Dokolo District Police Commander, the victim identified as Nancy Akec was found dead in her room in Abuli Village in Kwera Sub County in Dokolo district, a few minutes past midnight on Tuesday.
Betty Akelo, the deceased’s neighbor, says Akec returned from evening preps around 10pm looking fine and went to sleep, but was found dead under unclear circumstances.
The DPC says they have commenced investigation to the cause of Akec’s death and that they would conduct a postmortem to ascertain what could have killed the deceased.
The body was handed over to Dokolo Health Centre IV for postmortem.
