Police has confirmed that another body of a one Jalia Nalule was discovered today.

Jalia’s body was found at Katabi forest. She was a resident of Abayita on Entebbe road. Jalia was reported missing ten days ago, and the search for her, has been ongoing.

Has body has been taken to city mortuary for postmortem, according to Emilian Kayima, the Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson.

Meanwhile, the Directorate of Public Prosecution has sanctioned charges of terrorism, murder and aggravated robbery against thirteen suspects arrested in connection to the murder of nine women in Nansana Municipality in Wakiso District.

The suspects include boyfriends and husbands of the deceased women and hired assailants. The suspects were picked up in an operation by the Flying Squad Police Unit under the direct supervision of the Inspector General of Police, (IGP) Kale Kayihura.

Police Spokesperson, Asan Kasingye, says the suspects were picked up after they were implicated by one of their colleagues he identified as Ibrahim Kaweesa, a former robbery convict. Kaweesa, who was recently released from Luzira prison, is believed to have participated in the murder of eight of the nine victims together with one Mayambala.

"Eight of the victims were murdered in a similar manner and we suspect there was some aspects of witch craft while one of the victim could have been murdered as a result of domestic violence," Kasingye told Journalists at the Kampala Central Police Station this afternoon.

The murder victims included four sex workers, three estranged housewives; a vendor and a student. They are believed to have been sexually abused before they were murdered.

It is still unclear, why the assailants insert sticks in the private parts of the victims after killing them. While the murders have in Nansana have stopped since Kayihura pitched camp in the area and the Flying squad kick as well as Police professional Standards Unit (PSU) started its operation and went after rogue officers respectively, the murders in  Entebbe are on the rise.

On Sunday, police recovered the decomposing body of unidentified woman from Katabi in Entebbe. The woman is also believed to have been raped before she was killed. Police have been recovering bodies of women in Entebbe every week in the last two months.
