Renowned Nigerian dancehall Singer Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie commonly known under the stage name Patoraking, is billed to make a trip to Uganda for the forthcoming Uganda Entertainment Awards scheduled to take place on Friday Sep. 4, at Speke Resort Munyonyo.
On 29th June 2015, HowweBiz broke a story revealing of how the Nigerian Music star, through his Manager was in talks with a Ugandan promoter about his coming. In the article, we disclosed of how Patoranking's Manager had set foot in the Country to meet the music promoter whose names we were requested to keep under wraps.
Good News on our hands is that the Girlie O Singer will grace the pretigious UEA event , a rep has confirmed to us.
" We are flying in Patoranking and other Suprise international performers, we want the Ugandan audience to be suprised by every segment of the event." said the representative.
The Ugandan Entertainment Awards come at a time when Ugandans have given up on paying attention to Awards organised on the local Entertainment Scene following the previous loopholes like favoritism and Bribery, among other evils cited in Several Award Outfits.
A Uganda Entertainment Awards representative however says " The Uganda Entertainment Awards are the first and the only Awards Uganda can boost of when it comes to international relevance , we are looking to change the game and we are already doing so, Ugandans should turn up for the main event to witness the new trend we are setting. "
