Reports coming through indicate comical rapper Mun G has finally officially quit GNL Zamba’s Baboon Forest Entertainment Crew. For some few years, it has always been said that Mun G was on the verge of quitting the group that nurtured him, but it had never come to fruition, until last night (Wednesday) when he finally announced to friends that he had left his great friend’s record label.

The Sejusa singer announced that he was going under sole management as he tries to consolidate his position as one of the most celebrated rappers in the country. And now it is expected that this Mun G move could affect GNL financially. Lately despite his Sejusa album launch flop at kati Kati Restaurant in December last year, Mun G has been going places musically and financially with the singer scooping various deals most notably with airtel.

When contacted GNL insisted that Baboon Forest has never been responsible for Mun G’s finances generated from commercial deals such as the airtel or the Get Off The Sexual Network adverts. - via Xclusive UG
