State Minister for Mineral Development, Sarah Opendi wants the Ministry Of Education to ban artists from performing in schools due to the inappropriate dress code.

This was after a video of Sheebah dressed in a skimpy dress while performing for school-going children went viral on social media.

Roden Y Kabako however doesn’t believe in fighting the vice publicly.

He expected the Minister to talk to artists privately instead of giving the issue free publicity.

He explained that the minister should not expect artists not change their brand and style just for students.

“The Minister is promoting indecent dressing. I expected her to talk to musicians privately. The school administration should be in a position to guide artists when they book them,” he said during an interview on Galaxy FM.

The dress code of female artists in Uganda continues to become a major concern as ‘fans’ have continuously trashed their choice of dressing style.
