Singer Grenade spent days behind bars a few weeks ago on charges of criminal trespass and threatening violence to his ex-lover, Abdul Kilooto.
Her lawyers have added new charges of theft and malicious damage to property. The singer is accused of stealing a watch worth USD 500.
She claims Grenade took the watch and her attempts to recover it have been fruitless.
“Grenade took the watch. We asked him to return the watch but refused,” Kilooto’s lawyer said.
Grenade might soon be sent to Luzira.
