The voting for the new leadership of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) was halted on Monday, 6th of June 2022 over cases of irregularities in the voting procedures.

The cancelation came after King Saha protested claiming the voting system was hacked and the process was marred by malpractices.

King Saha in the company of his lawyers led by the Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago demanded the chairman of the elections committee cancel the polls because they had lost control over the process.

Earlier, Sheebah had asked King Saha to halt the elections if he suspects cases of malpractices.

"If things are not transparent stop everything. Why are we even online voting?? What if industry hackers are manipulating the system?" Sheebah replied to one of King Saha's online posts.

The chairperson of the electoral commission of the Uganda Musicians Association, Geoffrey Ekongot said new voting dates will be announced.
