Former Presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine gave President Museveni a run for his money in the 2021 general elections.
Political analyst Tamale Murundi claims President Museveni later devised a plan to weaken him by shifting competition from himself to his son Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
According to Tamale Mirundi, Bobi Wine is now competing and fighting with Muhoozi instead of the President, and the plan is to even drag him lower to start fighting with the likes of Bebe Cool when it is finally time for Muhoozi to take over power.
“He is now fighting Muhoozi. That is the plan. By the time Muhoozi is ready, Bobi Wine will be fighting with Bebe Cool. Museveni was shocked by Bobi Wine’s power and he had to find a way to cool him down,” Mirundi said.
Tamale Mirundi’s comments come at a time when Bobi Wine and Muhoozi are busy exchanging words on Twitter.
