Ykee Benda is one of the very few Ugandan musicians who have managed to pave a way for fellow singers.
Under his label, Mpaka Records, Ykee Benda introduced Dre Cali two years ago, and he has since gone on to drop several songs like "Kifuuba", "Onanagiza", "Ebisooka" among others.
From a common man’s understanding, Dre Cali can now survive on music as a career. But his boss believes he has not yet started his music journey, they should look forward to 2022.
“He was just testing the water. That was just a sample. We are unveiling the real Dre Cali come 2022," Ykee Benda said.
Dre Cali, one of the most promising musicians is expected to drop an album in 2022.
