Musician Bebe Cool grew his career around beef, often attacking his foes, Chameleone and Bobi Wine.
Bebe Cool explained that fighting is no longer a ticket to stardom, but a gateway to the bad books of fans.
“When you start fighting now, you lose fans in numbers,” Bebe Cool assured young musicians while speaking to a local television station.
He said his fights with Chameleone and Bobi were purposely intended to chase away Congolese music. And the trick worked.
Bebe Cool also relayed that the fights were never physical, except once with Chameleone.
