Over the weekend, a number of the entertainment fraternity gathered in Nansana to raise money geared to help artiste Evelyn Lagu get proper treatment.
She is set to undergo a kidney transplant.
The Gagamel boss and self-proclaimed Big Size, Bebe Cool contributed 1M. He said he would have given 5M and above if the music industry was operating normally.
“You know me, I’m a giver. I would have given her more but we are not working. I am broke of late,” he said.
He called upon the government to help her since it has put musicians in a position whereby they cannot help their colleagues.
