Musician Hillary Kiyanga aka Dr. Hilderman has expressed his gratitude to the NUP leader Bobi Wine for playing a big part in swaying voters to vote for him.
Hilderman who stood on the NUP ticket for Mawokota North said his relationship with Bobi Wine contributed much to his win. Many of the voters cast the vote for him because of the Umbrella symbol.
"This is a win of the people. Bobi Wine brought People Power and I am grateful that we won. It's a win for all the people of Uganda regardless of the party," he partly said.
Hilderman beat the Trade minister Amelia Kyambadde who was standing on the NRM ticket.
