Musician Rema Namakula’s manager Kayemba Solomon Geoffrey was elected as the MP for Bukomansimbi South constituency over the weekend.
Before joining politics, he had been Rema’s manager for over 5 years and many hoped that if he won the elections, he would throw in the towel.
But Kayemba says he will not quit his day to day job.
“Don't think that because I am now an Honourable, I will stop doing my other jobs, this is just a duty to serve my people, but I will continue doing my work both in sports and entertainment. I am still Rema’s manager,” he said when he was asked if he would quit his job as Rema's manager.
Other stakeholders who won the parliamentary elections in their respective constituencies include; are Hillary Kiyaga alias Dr. Hilderman, Geoffrey Lutaaya, and Racheal Magnolia.
