A few days ago, singer Gerald Kiweewa was arrested and detained at CID Headquarters in Kibuli.
Talking about the incident, KMP Spokesperson, Patrick Onyango said that the singer was arrested after they received complaints from Hon. Nantaba who accused him of tarnishing her name in his new song with upcoming singer Dina Rukoti.
However, according to Hon. Nantaba, she has no idea about the song and the arrest.
Nantaba claimed that Police “weevils” are playing dirty games with the singer.
“I was shocked to hear that Kiweewa was arrested because of me. I don’t know anything concerning his arrest. Uganda Police is playing games with Kiweewa but I advise him not to get involved in their games," she said during an interview.
