The Police of Kabalagala have on Monday commenced inquiries into businessman Sulaiman Kabangala Mbuga who was seen in a video circulating on social media, hosting a bug birthday bash over the weekend.
Mbuga threw a lavish party for his wife Vivien Mbuga at a place believed to be his residence in Buziga, a Kampala suburb. The party which could be mistaken for a wedding, attracted a big number of revelers and musicians like Sheebah who performed.
Luke Owoyesigyire the Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson says the party flouted ministry of health guidelines.
On Monday morning, Police summoned Mbuga who he presented himself at Kabalagala Police where he is currently being processed on charges of doing a negligent act likely to spread an infection of disease.
