Over the weekend, musician Cinderella Sanyu aka Cindy came out and trashed the recently concluded Zzinna awards that were held online on Friday evening. She suggested that Spice Diana was not supposed to win the award of the Best female musician of the year 2019.
She said Spice Diana has worked so hard but she still has years to beat her record.
In an interview with a local radio, Cindy said the Zzinna awards need to award people basing on their achievements rather than basing on the numbers of songs released by a musician every year.
The 'boom party' singer said she is an inspiration to Spice Diana and it is unfair to put her in the same bag with her.
"I have released music for many years and musicians like Spice Diana were inspired by us to join the music Industry, it's unfair for anyone to put her in the same bag with me," she said.
Cindy scooped an award as best dancehall artiste in the Zzinna awards.
