Ex convict and former Makerere associate Professor, Dr. Stella Nyanzi says Dr Kizza Besigye is a dictator.
In her Facebook post on Thursday evening, Stella Nyanzi said she has been receiving insults and negative criticism from the FDC party members for suggesting that People Power leader Bobi Wine is more credible to run as the President in 2021 than Dr. Kizza Besigye.
She stressed that some FDC members even attacked her family members including the father of her children and her innocent sisters which President Museveni has never done all the years she has opposed him.
"I am now afraid that members of my own political party are more repressive than dictator Museveni. They are gagging, censoring and suffocating much worse than the dictatorship ever did. My own party is abusing me simply because I wrote in favor of uniting with people power. They are insulting my lover and children simply because I dared to suggest that Bobiwine is might indeed be more popular than Dr. Kizza Besigye.
But now I am afraid that my very own political party members are more repressive than dictator Museveni. They are gagging, censoring and suffocating me much more than the dictator did," she wrote on her Facebook Wall.
Dr. Stella Nyanzi is expected to stand for the Kampala District woman member of Parliament come 2021. Many people suggest she is supporting Bobi Wine because he is more popular in Kampala than the FDC strong man Dr. Kizza Besigye.
Dr. Stella Nyanzi was freed from Luzira Prison early this year after High Court Judge overturned the first ruling of Magistrate Kamasanyu of Buganda Road Court who had sent her to Prison on charges of computer misuse.
