Musician Eddy Kenzo’s manager Martin Beta has revealed that his artiste is living a bad life in Ivory Coast.

The singer might be rich but according to his manager, the cost of living is very high in Ivory Coast. His wallet is being strained.

Eddy Kenzo left for Ivory Coast on 12th March to represent Uganda at the MASA Festival 2020 in Abidjan which took place on 14th March and all was a success. 

“He was supposed to return home 2 days later but unfortunately, Ethiopian airlines kept on changing his flight because of Covid-19. Ethiopian airlines later suspended  passenger flights and he found himself locked in Ivory coast,” the manager said.

“Ivory Coast is a very expensive country and their only official language is French which is a language barrier.He has to pay hotel charges on a daily basis and feed every day," the manager revealed.

The manager added that Kenzo has a family to take care of, his academy and other responsibilities.

The manager wants Kenzo airlifted and has requested the government to intervene.
