After the outbreak of COVID-19 over a month ago, work came to a standstill because of the President’s directive to observe social distancing and quarantine as ways of combating the spread of the deadly pandemic.
A number of people like musicians and deejays who depended on entertaining people have been spending yet they don’t earn and it is believed a number of them have run broke and have nothing left to eat.
The government has been supplying relief in form of food and other essentials to the vulnerable poor who can nolonger afford a meal.
Singer Pia Pounds has come out and asked the government to come to her rescue because she badly needs posho to survive.
“I also need Government posho. Who wouldn’t want it? We are starving,” Pia said during an interview.
A few days ago, an army General bailed out starving musicians by donating 350 Kgs of posho.
