Musician Eddy Kenzo is currently stuck in Ivory Coast after Entebbe airport was closed due to Corona virus outbreak in the country. He claims he is living a hopeless life, he wants to return home.

Kenzo also asked the government to consider musicians because they are facing financial crisis.

He said other countries like Kenya and Ivory Coast have bailed out entertainers with some money to help them in these hard times.

"Uganda is a very sensitive country, politics took ever everything but I ask the government to consider musicians just like what has happened here in Ivory Coast and Kenya," Eddy Kenzo said.

He added, "Our fans should not expect help from us as musicians, we sweat, sleep outside, and have sleepless nights. They pay us for our services, we are not like politicians who are responsible for them. I can't give someone food yet also I have nothing to feed on."

The "Tweyagale" singer further confirmed that 2020 is one of his worst years ever since he joined the music industry.

"I have incured huge losses in this period of lockdown. I invested a lot of money in my festival but God had different plans. I'm broke. I have decided to record a song dubbed "Tweni Tweni" as reminder of the year that changed everything in my life," Kenzo said this during an interview with a local television.
