Democratic party chief mobiliser and musician Jose Chameleone came out and assured his fans that he is still contesting as the Lord Mayor of Kampala Capital City Authority.
When asked whether he had given up on ousting Erias Lukwago, Chameleone said he is here to serve Ugandans.
He believes many people have been spreading alot of propaganda against his vision for Kampala city.
"Many people have been spreading falsehoods but that can not stop me from contesting. I announced it and I can assure you that I will be contesting for the Lord Mayorship post come 2021. I am in this race to rescue the people of Kampala, Our people deserve better than mere words," he said.
Chameleone will be in the race with people like Latif Ssebagala, Erias Lukwago, Retired Gen. Henry Tumukunde among others.
