Musician Jose Chameleone also known as Joseph Mayanja together with his brother Pius Mayanja alias Pallaso were unveiled as official members of DP party at Sharing Nsambya on the 3rd July 2019.

Chameleone also surprised the gathering when he refuted claims that he was a supporter of NRM and President Museveni.
“I have never been a supported to NRM. I just went there to do business like those who print T-shirts and posters. I am sorry for having gone there,” he said.
