Days after legendary musician Jose Chameleone declared his intentions to run for Kampala mayorship in 2021, another musician has expressed his interest in the top seat.
Irene Ntale, a devoted People Power supporter about the top seat at the City hall through her social media platform on Tuesday afternoon when she asked if she was eligible to run for the seat. “Can a female run for mayorship?” Irene Ntale posted.
The public showed great interest in an intent for her to run for the seat given that she is one of the few female musicians that featured on Bobi Wine’s famous “Engule” song last year.
