Alex Muhangi Stops Comedians From Begging Money From Audience

It has become a culture for comedians to extort money from revellers who turn up for their shows.

 Comedians like Mariachi, Kapale and others are famous for begging money from their audience, and usually they ridicule those who don’t give them.

Alex Muhangi, who hosts Comedy Store every Thursday at UMA hall wants this culture to stop. He has issued a set of guidelines comedians should follow while performing at his show. “No more begging for money from revellers at the show, ” he said.

He however says it is okay for a person in the audience to give money to a comedian when he or she appreciates.
