SK Mbuga's family is reportedly moving to file for bankruptcy. Mbuga and his wife Vivian Birungi are both in jail for defrauding a Swedish national Sten Heinsoo, also in jail of $53million.
Before Vivian was arrested, she was selling off some of their property to secure funds to help her husband. Her plans were cut short after she was sent to coolers.
Mbuga's family has now taken the mantle and they want to file for bankruptcy.
In that event, his assets will be valued, sold off and used to pay off debts.
The debts can also be done away with depending on the type of bankruptcy filed.
