Kabarole Woman MP Sylvia Rwabwogo will have to live looking over her shoulder after a man she accuses of stalking and sending her sexual messages was granted bail on Friday.

Brian Isiko, a student of YMCA College of Business Studies, Jinja was sent to prison for two years for cyber harassment and offensive communication.
Trouble for Isiko started when he allegedly fell blindly in love with the gorgeous MP. He would later start sending her sexual messages expressing his love, but the MP did not seem impressed.

On the fateful day of his arrest, Isiko asked to meet the MP, who accepted, only to turn up with police. He was then arrested, arraigned before court and sentenced to two years in prison. In her testimony, Hon. Rwabwogo emotionally told court that the accused was harassing her with messages she did not like.

What angered the judge most however, was that the young man kept laughing throughout the proceedings as if everything was a joke.

Isiko has since appealed the two year sentence and applied for Bail. On Friday, the Criminal Division of the High Court Justice Jane Frances Abodo released him on caution that he never contacts the honorable MP again.

The judge argued that given the fact that the accused has filed an appeal against the sentence, he retains the presumption of innocence, adding that the reasons presented by his lawyers; Katuntu and Co. Advocates, were substantial to warrant bail.
