Former Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo is back in the country after undergoing treatment in the UK. His health has finally improved.

Speaking to sources in Bweyogerere, it is said that Nkoyoyo was injected with strong drugs that were supposed to stay in his body for close to five months before he would be operated on.

Two months back, Church of Uganda dismissed rumours that were circulating on social media that the man of God had passed on. The church started a charity drive to raise money to foot his medical bill.

It is alleged that Nkoyoyo’s health started to deteriorate after the Pope’s visit to Uganda. He was the head of organising committee for the Pope’s visit to Uganda. Nkoyoyo developed abdominal pains and started losing weight. He immediately rushed to the UK by the family to receive immediate medical attention.
