The wife to singer Jose Chameleone, Daniella Atim filed for Divorce, after 9 years of marriage in April this year. The mother of four took the case to the family division of Nakawa Court, asking the magistrate to dissolve her marriage with the singer, on grounds of brutality. Through her lawyers Okurut and Co. Advocates, Daniella instituted the case on April 18th 2017 at Nakawa Court, outlining the various reasons why she needs the marriage annulled.
Chameleone came out and denied the rumour and he stormed Vision Group’s offices together with his wife to explain rumours that were doing rounds.
While appearing on Bukedde Radio recently, Chameleon explained;
“It was unfortunate that our conflict spilled over to the media. As a family man, Daniella could have accused me of failing some of my obligations as a man. I resolved it and we are now doing well,” said Chameleone.
Chameleone said that his problems with the wife were supposed to be an internal but when they became public, he was advised to first get it out of the public eye and give it a private approach.
Daniella or Mama Abba, as her husband prefers to call her, was uncomfortable discussing her marriage resolution with the singer.
“We should not go back to the past. Past is past and as Christians we forgive each other always and forget,” she said with a smile.
She said she was doing well with her children and had no more complaints.
