The police in Kampala have arrested an idle young man identified as Ojobile Augustine the national coordinator of Youth Coalition for Change (YCC).
Ojobile was arrested from Naguru police headquarters today morning where he had pitched camp demanding for the resignation of the IGP, Gen. Kale Kayihura, following the ugly events between the force and supporters of FDC iron man Col. Dr. Kiiza Besigye that led to the suspension of some police officers.
Ojobile was detained the after he showed up with a pillow black polythen paper of sandals, a cache envelope and a mat threatening to stay at the force’s offices until Kayihura resigns with his brutality.
The Naguru headquarters DPC only identified Eliau detained Ojobile who had camped at the main entrance of the headquarters attracting by passers and reporters who were denied a chance to take photos by police claiming that the police quarter guards is out of bounds to the media coverage.
Ojobile is now being held at Jinja Road police station.
