Retired nude Makerere University Don, Dr. Stella Nyanzi has today turned 42 years of age. Over 200 friends posted birthday messages on her social media pages with some promising presents.
The mother of 3 who also claims to be ‘Owenene’ confirmed it herself via Social Media that she was adding another year on her controversial life. Here is what she had to say,
I turn forty-two years today.
It's fantastic to be a mature adult.
My children gave me a hand-written card for my birthday.
Their unconditional love inspires our tiny love cult.
When my children are okay,
I'm superb in spite of my circumstances being extremely difficult.
At 42, I may lose my job at Makerere.
I was suspended from work for protesting against oppression by my boss.
And yet I am fully occupied with the duties of living, loving and laughing.
After six years of shitty employment under a flacid line manager, I am not keen about re-entering formal employment.
I even consider joining Uganda's Jobless Brotherhood for the unemployed.
I admire the creativity of their non-violent demonstrations!
At 42, I belong to no political party.
I lost my deep love for the NRM although I was once an ardent cadre trained at Kyankwanzi in the early 90s.
And yet I love and admire Uganda's leading political prisoner charged for treason and unfairly incacerated at Luzira.
After thirty years of a despotic reign of corruption, lawlessness and nepotism, I am weary and irate about Uganda's politics.
I even consider joining the FDC Red Top Brigade comprising the cutest dudes.
Their revolutionary stamina wows me.
At 42, I have no lover of my own.
I've been estranged from my tall, dark, handsome Fulani husband who preferred the lure of asylum to his wife and children.
And yet I have truly loved and been loved by a few stalwarts who saw the passionate twinkle in plastered heart or the gentle beauty of my fragile mind.
After twelve years of marriage to an absent husband, I lost my faith in weddings.
I even consider joining Crested Crane Lighters: a community based support group for male, female and transgender sex workers in Kampala.
Selling sex is a viable income-generating activity that requires no initial capital investment whatsoever!
At 42, I have:
No job, no political party, no lover!
And yet I am fulfilled…
