I Nearly Committed Suicide’ Due To Nudes

Former blue 3 singer Cindy Sanyu has revealed that she nearly committed suicide over her leaked nude photos several years ago.

While appearing on NTV morning show “Mwasuze Mutya” with sexy presenter Faridah Nakazibwe, the “Amateeka” singer revealed how she thought of killing herself out of shame during her nude photo saga, only to be saved by her loving mother.

“It is true that I took those pictures because my boyfriend Mario had asked for them at the time. Actually it’s my sister that took the pictures with my camera and I sent them to Mario.
I did it out of love, ‘coz I really loved him…but I actually don’t know what happened …and the photos were leaked by someone I even don’t know. But it wasn’t Mario.
However, on the fateful day people started calling me your nude photos are in the newspapers, The Red Pepper. I felt heartbroken a million times.
The nude picture scandal was the worst moment of my life. It ruined my public image that I had built for so long and also left me devastated, In fact, if it were not for my family support, my friend Bobi Wine… I would have committed suicide which I also thought about” Cinderella Sanyu talking about her nude scandal.

However, the singer admitted that her nudity boosted her music career….she earned 21 Million shillings in three weeks following major media interviews with BBC, Guardian that saw her earn European gigs.
