An angry mob in Nagadudula village in Nawaningyi sub county, Iganga district have lynched two suspected thieves who attacked their village chairperson, Grace Ndimulodi on Friday morning.

The suspects have been identified as 22-year-old Farouk Muwereza and Difas Byakika aged 25 years.

According to reports, the duo was part of a gang of five who stormed the house of Ndimulodi, cut his left hand and leg, before breaking into his kitchen where they started gathering his chickens.

However, his grandchild shouted for help and alerted members of neighbors who quickly ganged up to fight the suspects.
