Four people have died after a boda boda they were riding on was knocked off the road by a trailer on the Gulu – Nimule Highway.

Four people have died after a boda boda they were riding on was knocked off the road by a trailer on the Gulu – Nimule Highway.

The deceased have been identified as Walter Ongwech Obama, 34, Richard Kidega, 39, Geoffrey Ongom, 30, and Kenneth Okello, 25 all who were traveling on a Bajaj motorcycle registration number UEN 098U. 
They were however sent six ft under by a Kenyan registered trailer KBN 168A/ZC 4939 at about 10 pm on Tuesday at Pawel Langetta village in Atiak Sub-county. 

The deceased were all residents of Olwor Nguu Village in Parwacha parish in Atiak Sub County in Amuru district.

The Aswa River Police Spokesperson Patrick Jimmy Okema says bodies of the deceased were taken to Atiak Health Center IV for post mortem, adding that the trailer driver is on the run but his vehicle has been impounded at Lamogi police post for investigation and inspection.
