Wake (real name Mugoda Gordons) is a Ugandan Hip-hop artist and spoken word poet with a passion for African heritage. He comes from the Bugwere tribe in the Eastern Part of Uganda.

He seeks to inspire the young generation of Africa to be proud of who they are and where they come from.

Wake has featured on different stages such as La Ba! Festival 2017, Fete de La Musique 2017 and Pearl Rhythm Festival 2018 among others.

Wake has recorded and released music and poetry. Some of his songs include; Abantu B’eira.
