Masembe Datus, professionally known as Sliq Teq also known as Beat So Sliq is a Ugandan urban hiphop beat maker, song writer and rapper from Ntinda.  
Datus has worked with  hiphop artists like Byg Pryce,Abaasa, P.i.F, H.A.B.O. NTM, O.P.U, Llyboc, Black Reign, URBAN AKSENT, Jhay Efekt, Sulphuric and super producer Lawraid Vybz.
Datus pursued an MDD degree at Makerere University but dropped out in final semester. He then started a crew called KLAP.(KAMPALA PEOPLES MUSIC) with HABO and Krae. The group was affiliated to ROW records, Dustville records and K-records then went on to release "She dont mix her drinks" (2012) which received good views in hot100 fm.
The group fell apart, and Datus ventured off to fashion. He made a clothing line XP with Ssezi Arnold until he got the inspiration to focus on the music again. Datus left Ssezi to run the XP clothing line and joined the NTM crew late 2013.
Datus started making beats around 2004, but in 2009 his first beat tape made its way to dustville records. Michael Don. Many more beat tapes later, beats were used for Byg Pryce's Kambajuliire mixtape (2015) #NJABALA & #TUUBA_SHOW.

Datus is pursuing a bachelors degree in industrial fine arts at UCU, Mukono while working on his debut Extended play project titled #KITone (2016) with 16 track discography.
