Whose real name is Bulamu Martin, described as the future of dancehall, Nutty Boi ‘adi fucha’ as his name suggests is the answer to robust lyrics a trench town flow and action packed energy. The combinations of the above are a rare attribute to come across in the same package.

Deejays like Nutty Boi have been dying out and are harder to come by each day, for he is a re-incarnation of Bugle, Tommy Lee, Buju Banton and now incarcerated Deejay Vybz kartel.

Nutty boi’s ability cut across many genre and range from lover’s rock reggae, roots and dancehall. Industry experts have described him as the ultimate cocktail of riddim, pleasure, blues and island rock only coming close to the likes of Busy signal.

Earlier tracks recorded like princess, fire and I know demonstrate his reggae abilities. In his words, ‘these songs were helping me discover myself…’

In the past, Nutty boi’s has featured hit singles with Obsessions like ‘up and down’ and 2013 runaway hit ‘a me she want’ with ragamuffin gyal Margla and tusker project fames Bone styles.

Having worked with some of the best in producers in the industry, Nutty boi has reached a point of self-actualisation and now intends to take his music to the international level where it truly belongs.

The message in all his music is clear and is similar to a teacher telling his students or a parent passing on a message or a lover whispering about the beauties of the world in the deep crimson sunset. Lines from single ‘Dear Ela’ like ‘In your eye’s I see my youthful days…’ are an attribute he deeply possess and throws out.

Collabo’s with long time contemporary kemishan, Lyrical G and Black reign for hip hop dancehall tune ‘knock knock nah follow’ have been some of the other works he has featured on lately.

His recently completed album ‘discovering Buma’ is yet to be released and has hit singles like any ting, tonight, whine up and Pocket Money among others.
