Born as Gabriel Washington and raised in Kisumu city,Gabiro started music in late 2012 where he recorded his  first single "ball till i fall" under producer Jamal Malique of Starbell Records in Kisumu. At this time he had not taken music seriously due to school and lack ofsupport from both parents and friends.

In 2014, Mtu Necessary as he is famously known started to realize hehad to go ahead with or without the support of others and that's when he made his own slogan "nitajituma" that led to him  recording yet another single "story" which  got a very positive response from my fans with the song getting massive airplay in many radio stations across the country.

In the same year he got a chance to compete at the SHUJAAZ FM song battle that saw him being the winner out of a number of artists from all around Kenya.

In 2014, he won an award for the best social awareness song of the year at the Tecno Vybez awards that takes place in the Western part of Kenya;Nyanza and Western provinces.
He has so far done a number of songs which include singles and the latest collaboration  "KILA MTU AKO JUU KIVYAKE" that features various artists from Kisumu,Kenya.
