The ID Twins Musical journey began from Masaka Aghakan Senior Secondary School, one of the biggest school in Masaka District and Uganda as whole, East Africa, The most Identical twins Wasswa Tamale Cosma and Kato Kedie Kigundu. At Masaka Aghakan school they joined the Music Dramma and dance club called Holizon where they started miming Lucky dube, Sisco,Buju Banton, Coolio among othersand this was from Senior one to senior four.
After having completed their Ordinary level, they later joined Wampewo Ntake Senior school Gayaza Road Wakiso District for their Advanced level in 2004 and they joined Scripture Union and here they were joined by Denis Kisamba.They got involved in school politics and they competed in Entetainment, Sanitary Ministries, and here Wasswa Cosma was voted for Health and Sanitary prefect and Denis Kiasamba Entertainment prefect.
They also formed various Singing Groups like Marvel Squad, Spiritual Pieces, Gods Nature Crew, Vegas Production and Marvel Equivalent. All these groups where formed within two years of their A level and through these group they used to make miming and singing competition and here their rival group was called Black Mesiah whioch was formed by their fellow classmates. MarvelSquad as a group comprised of all students from O level and A level. Under Marvel squad,they formed Spritual Pieces Band of three people that`s Wasswa, Kato and Denis. And here they recorded their First Gospel Album called `Yesu Omunazareth` and this album included songs like Omwana yesu,Yesu Omunazareth,Mukama mulungi,Ndayila etc.
After compeleting their Senior six,(vaccation) Wasswa and Kato with Denis P joined City FM a Radio owned by former Kyadondo MP Sitenda Sebalu,due to their prominence they had done in various churches on Gayaza road and different schools especially Wakiso District, they were given a Gospel show drive which used to run on Every Sunday morning.
Later in 2005, Wasswa and Kato applied to the Makerere University to study Bachelor of Commerce and Information Technology Respectively At Makerere University almost every one used to wonder who was who due to their same identical looks and behavior just like before and here musically they formed ID TWINS.
In 2007 they joined Roger Mugisha and Matt Bish and featured in Battle of the souls film which featured actors like Mathew Nabwiso and others here ID Twins acted as Paul and Soul.
In 2009 ID Twins started serious music and went secular with some few gospel songs. Their first song together with Denis P was Kama mbaya mbaya which was recorded by Tvr Studios. Among other songs included Mr Kampala, Maama, Alululu, Sweet Modena, Embaga yo etc.
Here ID Twins were invited by a rwandese promoter to perfom along side Dream Girls and Abdul Mulasi and this marked the idtwins first International tour and performed in places like Gitarama and KBC club, Kigali.
As far as Ugandan music is concerned ,Idtwins have performed on verious big shows in Ugand like Oluwombo lwa Beat fm, Radio simba,Ekitobeero by CBS FM, Ekikompola and many other radio shows.
In 2010 ID Twins release Oliwaddala single followed by, Nkwetaaga and Ankyaye done by producer Rinex in D recordsThe above songs are played on most of Ugandan radios and Internet radios plus youtube, facebook, myspace and sound cloud mention it. These Id twins are said to be the most interactive artists on social websites like Facebook myspace etc
According to the Vision group survey Idtwins are the most identical twins in Uganda as reported by Bukedde news paper.
In 2010 ID Twins were invited in Rwanda again for the second time to perform with their fellow Ugandan artists like Eddy kenzo, Ragga D and Samarie Matovu and here they shared a stage with Top Rwandese artistes like Alpha, VD frank.
The id twins have shared stage with big artists like in AY,Naziz,wyre and Top Uganda Artists like Bebe cool,Jose Chamelion etc at popular Uganda shows like East African Carnival, Club Silk street Jam etc and among the international shows in Uganda Idtwins have performed alongside RDX Bend over concert at resort beach organized by a top Ugandan artist Bebe cool, and Chaka demus and pliers, Mr G at Munyonyo 2011.
Among their latest singles are Uncle,Proline fc official song recorded by Allan AO Records and the latest among is Mbulira. Apparently they a about to shoot Mbulira video and they are back in studio to record more singles to fill their latest album which will include 3 collabo songs with big artistes in Uganda.
