Cooper & G-Way is an award winning music group whose fresh and ripe approach to gospel music is taking Uganda by storm. Cooper Ssali is a leading artiste and mentor to many in Uganda's gospel music industry, an icon in his own rite. Cooper's Musical journey started way back in 1996 when he joined "Anointed in Worship" one of the choirs at his home church Rubaga Miracle Center Cathedral. In 1998 he became choir director of the church’s youth choir; the Youth Worship Team (YWT). In the years following this, the youth choir grew rapidly; evolving from a church youth choir (Y.W.T) to national gospel sensation Cooper & G-WAy. They have recorded 3 albums and have done numerous performances around East Africa.
