1Rail was born and raised in Jinja , Uganda East Africa  he first gained interest in Music when he was young at the age of 6 he enjoyed break dance and singing  as he grew he got introduced to various genres by the age of 13 1Rail had already started writing his own songs 

1Rail officially started his music career in 2010 even though he was still at university 1Rail balanced his music career with his studies he started out by making a few mix-tapes and luckily for him he got good airplay on some of the radio stations in Uganda like Hot 100 , Sanyu Fm , Kfm , RadioCity Smart Fm , Capital Fm , Magic100Fm , East Africa Radio , and also featured on a number of countdowns 

By 2013 1Rail got his first break through song " In Another World " which went viral on the internet the song was able to get over a million plays and thousands of downloads on hulk share and soundcloud  it was later followed up by another hit song titled " Limelight " which gave him more airplay on urban radio stations and also was played in different countries including the U.S.A  that's when 1Rail became popular in Uganda because the story was published in Newspapers Like The New Vision ,  Kampala Sun , and many more 

 he was able to work on a few albums like Limelight , The Master Piece , East African Boy American Dream and was also to make a few Top Charting  Videos Like Going In Hard which went up to #1 on Hipipo charts  , By Any Means which went up to #2 in the top 20 of Face TV  , and Missing You which went up to #1 on Urban Television Uganda  

he has also been able to win a few awards mostly in his home Town like Best Hip-hop Artist In The Eastern Region of Uganda by Eastern Swagg Awards , The Best Video Missing You in The Igenge Awards 2013 

when it comes to collaborations he has been able to make collobos with both international and local acts from Jada Marie ( New York ) , Wumi Spell ( Nigeria ) , A Pass ( Uganda ) , Flex D'Paper ( Uganda ) , Kyle ( Uganda ) , Cleopatra Koheirwe ( Uganda ) , King Saha ( Uganda ) , Keyner ( Uganda ) , Deastronat ( Uganda ) , Crazy Mc ( Uganda ) , Nasser Kings ( Uganda )
