Musician Azawi has continued to heap praise on the late Mowzey Radio even in his absence.
Speaking in an interview with a local YouTuber, Azawi revealed Radio is her biggest music inspiration.
Azawi explained she grew up listening to Radio's music, and she derives her writing abilities from listening to his music.
"Radio is my biggest influence in the industry. I grew up listening to those boys' music, and it's touching. It goes deep to the heart, and I really draw my writing inspiration from listening to his songs. I feel blessed to always be compared to a great," she partly said.
Azawi is one of the fastest-rising musicians in Uganda and carries hope for many fans of Ugandan music who hope to see it spread across borders.
